PINOCOCO is a duly registered import export company established in August 2009, with its main office at Liloan, Cebu City, Philippines. PINOCOCO has been coined from the words Filipino coconut, our own version of Filipino ingenuity.

This company came about when a group of women with children got together, prayed and asked God for ways to provide livelihood without neglecting home and children. These women live on the fringes of poverty and need for support of their families.
This work has extended to another group of women and young girls that has been taken for granted by our society – the victims of human trafficking. International Justice Mission, Cebu has heard of our work and has approached us as well to teach and train some young girls on the skills of handicrafts.
Our involvement with IJM was discontinued as the shelter was moved to another place quite far from us. But this did not stop us from opening our doors to girls in this plight.
Currently we have also opened our life-skills training program to indigent men and out-of-school youth.
The idea of creating handmade items at home was the most feasible. As an artist, painter and designer, I volunteered to design products made from recycled, natural, and indigenous materials.
Samples and components of these designs are then given to the women to work at home. Home visits are done for fellowships and Bible studies as well as to encourage the women to excel and to impact the homes and families in their communities.
PINOCOCO has the goal to produce high quality handmade products with the unique identity of being natural, exotic, timeless yet updated. We are on continuous research and development to come up with unique and original components and designs. Currently we are creating gorgeous costume jewelry and bags.
In this site, you will see our design collections. Each item is made from indigenous materials meticulously handcrafted by men, women with children, and out-of-school youth, coming from indigent families and are undergoing our life-skills training program.
For your every purchase, you are supporting this work and you become part of God’s redemption, healing and blessing.
We trust that you will honor the exclusive rights of PINOCOCO on the components and designs of these items. No copy of any post, artwork in part or in whole as well as the designs in actual and in print is allowed without permission.
“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything; you may have an abundance for every good deed.” ~2 Corinthians 9:8
Thank you for your support.
May God bless you beyond measure!

Albert & Analy Pepito
Albert and Analy approached Pinococo to give them work. Albert is a self-taught bagmaker and has difficulty getting a job because of very low education. This is when I started designing bags to help them.
We bought a sewing machine for them so they can work at home. Analy helps Albert and is also now training to do beadworks and jewelry assembly. They have 3 small children of which one is still an infant.
Edwin is a trisikad (pedal bike cab) driver. Edwin is one of our very first trainee in our life skills program. We trained him in operating machines, cutting, sanding as well as the resin process and finishing. He is as well our handyman – doing carpentry and electrical works. Now he still drives after work, but already with a motorbike.

Darius Igoy barely finished high school when his father had a stroke. His father was one of our carpenters making playhouses. We taught and trained Darius with all the crafts that we are doing here at Pinococo. Now he knows resincraft, cutting and polishing, and he is our master crafter of miniatures. He also learned painting where he freelances during day offs. He teaches and trains other out-of-school youth who are in our life-skills training program.

Marlyn Bahio is one of our dear friends who sympathizes with our cause. She volunteers to help us in sourcing materials and in teaching and training other women with handicrafts.
We thank God for our friends who have donated materials, time, and resources to enable us to continue with this work. We believe that God will use this company to transform one-life-at-a-time, making ways for dreams to be realized.
Our doors are always open to the very poor who want to learn the crafts. We don’t have much, but we share what we have and who we are, offering free meals and allowances during training as well as counselling and Bible studies.
These men and women can opt to start their own handicrafts, or work with us when we have orders as subcontractors.

training girls and women with the craft of jewelry-making.
