When you hear the word cottage, you think of a small house set on the hills among meadows and trees with fresh air and delightful gardens.
A country cottage is a little house that you can retreat for refuge from a busy city life. It brings to mind sounds of birds, of cows, chickens, and other other lovely creatures – a rejuvenating place to enjoy the beauty of nature, the simple and the beautiful.
My Little House Philippines has created this miniature country cottage for kids thinking of the joys that parents and their children can enjoy right in their yard.
The Country Cottage Playhouse
A covered front porch welcomes you to this one and a half-storey wooden house. Handcarved balusters adorn the entrance porch, leading to an oval windowed door beautifully molded and carved. French plexiglassed windows bring the sunshine in as well as the cool breeze.
The living, dining and kitchen areas are on the main floor. Steps up to a side porch leads to a slide and down to the side yard.
A ladder takes you to a cozy attic bedroom with gingerbread details overlooking the living area downstairs.
A true little dream house offering hours of fun and priceless memories!
